Your yard needs a good amount of air and sunlight to maintain good health. With two different schools of thought on the matter, let’s talk about the trouble that comes from allowing a thick layer of leaves to sit on your yard, then discuss how to deal with them. One common dilemma homeowners face is whether or not to rake and bag fallen leaves and debris from their lawn. Once we located the end of the pipe, we realized that the major problems of the downspouts backing up were caused by a previous contractor dropping all of the Christmas light brackets into the gutters! Then, when it rained all of the clips were filtered down into the pipes and clogged.Fall is quickly becoming winter and the trees are shedding the last of their leaves. One of the biggest problems we had with the drainage was finding and digging out the existing downspout attachment pipes that were in the yard but grass had grown over all of them over time. Major irrigation system repairs that are run off of a pump / well system.ĭrainage solutions were also designed and implemented. We removed several trees and pruned dozens more, new plant installation along with new hardwood mulch. This was a full blown landscape renovation that included removing existing plants and redesigning beds, removal of existing mulch, bringing in gravel, boulders and accenting hardscape areas with finishing touches.
